MIJO- Carajillo

MIJO is a mountain carajillo made with high-altitude coffee and sugarcane aguardiente.
It is a Colombian interpretation of the traditional carajillo, reimagined from the cold landscapes of Boyacá and rooted in ideas of memory, ritual, and slow consumption.

Rather than focusing on excess or nightlife, MIJO proposes a quieter moment — a drink meant to be taken slowly, with intention.

Every afternoon, after working the land, Eusebio would call his son Tomás:

“Mijo, bring me the carajillo.”

It was a small gesture — coffee, a splash of aguardiente, and silence at the end of the day.

Years later, Tomás returns to the mountain and turns that memory into a drink.
MIJO is born from that everyday moment between father and son — transforming a personal ritual into a bottled expression of origin, time, and belonging.
